she insisted on bringing guys home to sleep on her bed in the room we shared... while i was around. then when my girl fren from outstation wanted to put up a nite with us, she insisted that my fren sleep outside in the living room. when i said no, she'll sleep in our room, she began to treat my fren like she was invisible liao. that was the end of our once-close frenship.

1st house: landlady was freaky... an old unmarried ah por who lived with her old unmarried younger sis. the younger sis was very kind to me, but the older sis was terrible. she locked me in the house on weekends (refused to give me my own set of housekey) & made sure there was no food in the house (i was not allowed to buy my own food & store it at home) so for every weekend i was there, i survived on pickled assam jawa, weetameal crackers & chili sauce. lost 8kg in a month. she also monitored all my phone calls... anyone call up the house looking for me, she'll ask 1001 questions then call me to the phone 30 mins later only. ofcos my parents were damn pissed cos they call from outstation. summore she was my mom's good fren. after 1 month, terus cabut. 4 years later, dad told me the old aunty died liao. so happy to hear the news.

2nd house: apartment at my place apartments. shared with 9 other gals. one of the best times of my life. moved out cos lease expired.

3rd house: freaky roommate who had the idea that all my stuff belonged to her too. put up with her for 3 months, then got out of there b4 she started treating me as her personal property too.

4th house: a fren of my mom's fren advertised that she wanted students to rent a house from her. from the start i suspected something was fishy liao. the lady demanded a whole semester's rental upfront... which we were quite reluctant to give just in case anything happened & i wanted to get out. but i managed to sweet talk her into accepting monthly payments from me... another housemate was not so lucky. the lady just barged into our room early one weekend, shook her awake & asked if she'd paid up yet. the entire house hated her so much that whenever we heard she was coming by to do her "inspection" (she doesn't live with us, fortunately), everyone would lock themselves in a bedroom or in the bathroom. once she brought her hubby along... he banged on the bathroom door where me & my roomie were. & forced all of us to come out. he threatened us & said all sorts of unmentionable things. so i moved out. the rest couldn't cos they paid the whole semester's rental liao. later when i came by to visit them, i was told that the lady threatened everyone that if they ever moved, she would hunt them down & make life extremely difficult for them & for the housemates they left behind in this house.

5th house: landlord wanted the house back. so happens it coincided with my semester break.

6th house: stayed there for a full year... the longest i've been at any place till then. left cos it was time to go overseas.

7th house: my flat in melbourne... spent half the time there & half the time at my then-bf's flat. hehehe. really din't have a permanent address then & ppl forever complained that they could never get hold of me... heheheh.

8th house: i was here for nearly 4 years. this house was the biggest psycho nuthouse i've ever lived in.

9th house: my own pad in usj. may live here forever... :D
