I brought a DVD burnner to create my Wedding Video, I try using boht DVD+RW and DVD+RW (DVD Media Brand : Imation) but I still can't play back at my DVD player. Can you guy help me with my problem... .Any suggetion.

DVD Burnner : NEC DVD+/-RW Model 1300A
DVD Media Brand : Imatiom
Software : Nero and Ulead Video Editing

Try using DVD + or DVD - disc for burning. And does ur DVD player support DVDRW? U r using DVDROM or normal DVD player?

Some more possible explanations:
= DVD player does not support DVD+, DVD player reads only DVD-
= You burned the DVD+RW too fast, many DVD players are only 2x
= You should try DVD-RW or DVD-R, more compatible for DVD players. DVD+ not so popular for video, more for data storage and back-up

Not quit sure about my DVD player can support DVD+ or not, I try using both DVD+RW and DVD-RW. Both also cannot play. I might want to try using DVD-R (Expensive to try....one time burn..if cannot ...gone).

My DVD+/-RW Writer can play all DVD+/-RW or DVD+/-R media. Thanks for your information.

I using normal DVD player ...result problem but PC DVD burnner play OK

your dvd player does not recognize DVD+/- RW discs...nothing more..

use different media

Can you tell us your DVD player brand & model ?

* Ulead Video Editing will only encode your DVD audio with PCM form (not AC3), but most of the
DVD Player support PCM Compression Playback.

* If your DVD player can't even detect the insert Disk...that means it can't read DVD+/-RW. Try
DVD-R. (Try to burn in low speed, ISO Form in Nero, is recommanded to burn directly from Ulead
Video Studio after the DVD Video is Generate)

I will try using DVD-R later. This week busy..(Go to Chiang mai and Bangkok). Any recomemdation what to do there (17 and 18 Oct).

Next week I will try. If find the problem I will inform you. OK.
