I'm looking for a phone which is "Future proof". Nokia 3650 appears to be the obvious choice, but I don't like the keypad design and the bulk (Am using Ericsson T39 now).

As for T610, I like the features, it has almost everything (GPRS, Infrared, Bluetooth, Downloadable games etc...) and the phone design. But the memory is pathetic (2MB only).

Next up is Alcatel, I loved the 8x Zoom camera feature... It's also the LATEST and cheapest camera phone at RM980 only! It has almost all features except bluetooth. The 4MB memory is better than T610's 2MB!

It is nice to have that 'brick' phone around. Got my firmware updated at Ericserve. Everything okay. I understand if you guys can't find anything for my phone. It's good enough as i have the full package. Eg. Ori Handsfree (although SE type), desktop charger, car charger and software too. Taking care of this baby of mine.

At times it hangs, i guess that's symbian's thingi. Hahaha... But, so far, so good. I write sms rather than pressing keys. Kinda cool...

digi really a big loser.

one day got one malay girl from digi name ATIE. She came by our office and telling us Digi promotion ........... now register can get this and that ............

then i asked abt the EDGE. she said YES we can use it already. I doubt it.
i told her that i called Digi before. EDGE is not available for us yet. Then she said have to ask her manager or supervisor ( forgot liao )

about 5 mins later. a 4 eyes loser came back with a terrible attitude. You know what the idiot told me??

i got pissed off becoz of his terrible attitude. was thinking to register one with nice number then hopefully can back to MMS and really wanna try the EDGE so can online with my notebook. EDGE online quite fast.

I dun even wanna talk to the idiot. i asked GET THE FXXK out. I called Digi right away ... and found out the guy name SIMON. i made a complain report right away.

Digi guy told me he'd ask his manager to call me back ........ UNTIL now no action taken.

hello hello, can i join the chat ah? just trying to give some personal comments on digi...

i found the customer service at digi is good overall.... just sometimes, especially those call in complain will not be handled well by teleservice representative, coz they also dun know..... they are the gatekeeper employed by digi for getting FxxK by the unhappy customers, in the way also their job is to comfort those customers.

frankly speaking, call in service really dun work, i have experienced with five representatives, and none of them can help or do anything, one of them even confess to me their complains posted up to supervisor is normally been ignored till the third time call in, so she finally advise me to go to digi center, and within 3 days my mms problem solved

with this kind of complain, do not forget to ask for the service person name on first greeting and also ask for the name of his/her immediate superior, don't just complain and leave or put down the phone, ask for the reference number of your complain, and make sure you make the person servicing you to commit a reasonable date(in this case, not more than 3 days), and by the due date, how to contact him/her, and if cannot contact him/her, who you can talk to....

Customer service is just a trend like all other business. Remember once they are many ppl working in factory? Then everything is automated. Once there are even a trend where delivery on time or free? Now all company is going for Customer service.

Customer Service Officer should be
1. SOLVE THE PROBLEM QUICK
2. UNDERSTAND CUSTOMER'S PROBLEM

but too bad in Msia, most custonmer service is there to just Bluff and waste our time with sweet talking and lies. They can't solve our problem at all.

No point being friendly and such when u still cannot solve my problem.

Customer service trend will soon die out. It will be around but company will then invest more money maybe using a Automated Solving Machine or they will even use 3G to remotely see what is wrong with your phone. So no customer service officer involve. Just a technician.

I'm planning to let go my SonyEricsson Z600 and get a Nokia 6600. Due to memory problem. And use normal phone really a pain for me lah. Nothing to play along mah. 6600 is the cheapest smart phone in the market with Nice Shape and Nice Colour. ;)
