erm ... for tmtouch prepaid reload can get at rm38 sometimes .. sometimes only la .. like chinese new year arr ... or something like that ... but usually rm45 lo ... for rm50 credit ..
celcom ermm .. reload rm46 lo for rm50 credit ..

p/s: at my place la ... dono u all more cheap or wat .

helpline is better than 012 in any case. auto roaming works great. still can sms on a celcom prepaid mobile that is "terminated" - netwk access expired 30/03/2003... still can sms....hehehee..

200 reloads are great..can get about 28 worth of airtime+sms credit FOC (on xplore 5 mths)

I think Celcom has 1 problem only that is inside buliding coverage. The signal is ultimatly low when inside builiding and especially undergrond carparks.

depends on places lah. underground carparks, i don't see even one telco can rule all the underground carparks. in suria klcc underground carpark, celcom is good while maxis is not. while in low yat plaza underground, celcom is terrible and maxis is good :) give & take. if one telco can rule them all, meaning we don't need any other telcos. that single telco can charge like hell also. now we have 3, meaning, u can choose. i choose celcom. i hate bdl facts, he talks just like maxis is the only one that u can rely on. what the hell?

yalah.... in bonus cases, celcom is the best. they give u so much airtime bonus. i used celcom prepaid mobile since 1999, and i continued the 2 card system to excel. damn cun, reload 50, u get 12.50 bonus. a lot, considering excel is 30 cents peak and 15 cents off peak. now i'm using the new EZY Plan postpaid. cun, but i still keep the prepaid card. just in case giving it to some one. well, for all that long i've been satisified. well bdl, am i STUPID for choosing celcom considering celcom is not that best and MAXIS is?

012, 019 carpark (tesco klang especially) is bad. But celcom autoroams to 013. Acquires signal.

012 - hopeless. Only when u get to ground level can u expect some signal...

oh yeah i wanna complain about 012's $100 = 60days access in the 012 thread...hehe

There are one thing for sure all these Telco in Malaysia are not willing to merge with each others.
Politic & economy new regulation makes the asimiliation works. As what people say "......Mahathir Say One......"

shows that u never do ur home work...i didnt recall any 8250 can support wap.....get a new phone or ur 9210 to surf wap ok? and the settings can be found in www.hotlink.com.my.... if u r using t610 or 6100 or 7250...thats even better..what u need to do is just send a message n they will let u download the settings..

don't just reply for the sake of arguing which is better..i myself have not used celcom before but i did use tmtouch 6 years back..

but it seems that celcom isn't doing that well...if they are truly the best how come so many people changed operators? please do enlighten me since u claim to support celcom so much...

i myself is a digi and maxis user...as far as i know..maxis is still better than digi in most places in terms of coverage...maxis's helpdesk also better than digi...

the only line that i still experience dropped lines during dialling is digi...

back then they really suck....coverage was extremely bad...as long as u are in an enclosed building....no line...

maxis have never let hotlink users (whether 5- 6- or 9- series #) use the traditional WAP la. pls kindly explain why? server cannot take it cos no money to upgrade?! summore maxis as i noe, most of the customers are prepaid users. at least digi has WAP. and maxis has the most network failures in the year of 2003. 1st time the central maxis number hard to call in/out. 2nd time the network went down few times in puchong area. 3rd time on 16/10/2003 - takkan they cannot call tnb to plug in a few generators?!

celcom was operating on a "can afford can use" business, more targeted to busy professionals. thats why u can have 200 dollar reloads and 6 mth network access. those ppl hear from their frens that 012 is the best. hahaha...hahahaha.....wait till they get to a spot where 012 tadak signal and 019 users are happily chatting away. jalan kastam, port klang area is one fine example.

i was a 016 user from 1998 to 2002. back then i agree coverage really sucked. everywhere lousy, even in my hse. now, recently i got a 016 # and surprisingly 016 full bar in my house. and btw its a single sty - should be no prob bout signal penetration.

In short, ppl nowadays dont want to change from 012 because they bought the old simpacks at 238 or more... for junk #s usually. 019 didnt do so well last time cos they were more focused on billing plans (remember those 019 subsidised phones last time?)

wap with a connection of only 9.6 kbps...who wans to use it?? secondly, it is charged by the usage time..that is also another reason that wap is not introduced to hotlink users. because most of the hotlink users r budget users..they wont spent hrs on wap just to find a small piece of info and yet costing them a lot...

now..they intro GPRS because it is better compared to 9.6kbps...they calculate by per kb instead of per min..and another thing is that MMS is getting popular..thats why maxis only intro GPRS to hotlink users...lastly...i see no idea why maxis wanna intro Conventional WAP again when they have a faster connection like GPRS already..just my two cents

9600 - 28000 supported... dunno whether really 28.8 onnot? but can use HSCSD settings to connect.. celcom supports HSCSD :D

9210 native support tadak GPRS.
But with Psiloc Extended Internet, can use IR to connect to a 6510 etc (GPRS phone) that is already connected to GPRS. (phone to phone-tat-has-GPRS)
