I have a friend who bought a new Hotlink SIM pack with the prefix 9. I usually call his number using Telekom RIng RIng Card cause more budget. Then my card still left RM0.22. So I play miss call with my other friend with central number lor. But when I to call to my friend with the maxis 9xxxxxx, it's said UNSUFFICEINT BALANCE. But when I call using my handset, they charge central charges. I use my fixed line to test, I see my Telekom phone bill wrote MAXIS TN. When I use some of the public phone to call maxis 9xxxxxx, they eat money very fast ler. :( Anyone experienced this or it is like this dek?

Maybe the number is for Eastern region (Pahang, Kelantan & Terengganu).

fact is, if u miss call (connect) successfully (as in hearing the mobile ring on the calling party aka fixed line) to any mobile phone, u'll be charged. miss calls cost $$!! 9 under maxis is central but under telekom could be outstation terengganu calls (possiblity of telekom system nvr update : malaysia...sigh!!)

900-939xxxx and 970 series maxis numbers should be under central if im not mistaken
