this is considered as IMPOSSIBLE.
Cause every phone calls need to be passed thru telephony company. ans thelephony company is not going to give it free.

there is a way, Use IP Phone. But, you and your friend need to have it so that you and him can communicate.

Or, buy a internet phone software.

or, write your own voip software.

BUT, i don't remember what the program is. I'm sure i saw it on techTV call for help. It's Cat's tips of the day. by using IP Phone, both side just need a phoset set, means no PC involved. Think of it, just like a PSTN phoneset.

I got to know that TMNeT is coming out with this IP Phone technology. See la, maybe in this few months. but, I don't think they are giving it as free service.

heard is very good, can summore run on a 1.7Ghz P4 and 128MB ram (winXP). not bad.

but back in 1996-1997... the most popular one was called "Internet Phone"
(you all can type these 2 words in the search engine and see what they
got now... I am not sure).

I used it to talk to many people in different countries (as long as they were
online as well by using this "Internet Phone"). What we need is only speaker
plus a computer microphone. Simple & easy....and FOC !! :)
