:p

what the hell happened? u used a pirated OR "zitron sticker" battery i guess. Fake Z stickers are produced in china and penang FYI. That's why u can have "Z" sets from ur neighborhood shop $100-150 cheaper than those from hello station/nokia pro centers

never encounter this problem b4!

ckhoong, it's relatively normal, till beginning of march already happened 3 times for battery explosion, the last 1 even injured the user's thigh coz she was putting it in her trouser pocket
Anyway original or not , u will have to see the real thing to be sure, it's not whether there's a zitron sticker or wat wat sticker pula, zitron only shows that the battery is taxed and warrantied in m'sia
As for batteries in other countries, they do not have this zitron sticker or watsoever on their battery
Anyway if not mistaken the last case happened in Myanmar, and it was stated that the battery is original from NOKIA
Bad manufacturing quality from Nokia

yup yup... we concern bout foreign countries info and found that their country also happened same case... they dont know i just dont say.. kekeke later all people scare bout those N users

eleh...i use so many nokias b4 nvr happen to me.... usually this exploding battery problem may happen with any battery. BUT in most cases the phone was underwater set - non original chips being substituted i guess - since the AP (UW) set got very little sticker on the screws (easy to open and replace a few chips or components).. the battery contact box is also very important - if it shorts out the batt overheats and BOOM.

Take note it only happens with Nokia batteries, even compatible samsung, SE, motorola batteries never happen b4
Itt's darn obvious that the statistic shows something

ceo684
25-11-03, 02:42
cos the compatible batteries for nokia got very high mah rating or sumthing - they last for ages, sometimes surpassing original performance. the compatible battery got higher voltage or amperage, hence its higher chance to BOOM

BTW without the zitron sticker can u guys really tell the difference between a good fake and an original nokia battery? zitron stickers are being manufactured illegally in china and penang...heh heh...thats why you can get "zitron" 8210 batteries for RM99 only

veon18
25-11-03, 17:09
nah
majority of the compatible batteries have lousy performance
except the new li polymer sun u or hi cap batteries
and those with defects are those lousy batteries
summore the one which boom is original, manufacture by Nokia, not 3rd party battery
Nokia QC is down the drain
p/s: Nokia has the highest return rate for repair of handphone

used for 4 mths compatible 3310 battery Cellmex HICAP1250 mah works far better than a new BMC3 nokia original from the 3310 package... the truth is actually nokia batteries are sub contracted to china manufacturers... some of em also produce compatibles in the same factory. batteries rarely explode with proper charging/usage.

ceo684
25-11-03, 21:22
highest return rate? cos u selling "sticker zitron" AP sets issit?
heheheh.... 3310 is cheaply built, like moto T190/191...all the cheap stuff never works well... my 5210 (suspect sticker Z set, imported by IntanED Dist.) and 9210 (ori Zitron) never gave any probs so far.

:) The reason of boom is due to the battery has no fuse intergrated...

ceo, i dunno why u keep raising the fake zitron sticker issue, is that the only thing u know?!
esh
i dun care whether ur phone works well or not, it is just 2 so so Nokia phones
The fact is original Nokia batteries exploded, and Zitron sticker has nothing to do with it, ORIGINAL here means manufactured by Nokia itself, not some third party batteries, and it is Nokia's responsibilty if there's any defects in them
Zitron is merely a warranty sticker, that's all! Making sure that the battery is taxed and warranty to be claimed
Even some AP warrantied batteries are ORIGINAL as they are manufactured from NOKIA China or Finland themselves, just that some are not taxed or just being distributed by non-authourised distributor
So what if ur two small Nokia has no prob at all, i had used almost 30 Nokia models and found nothing faulty in them as well, does it show anything? NO! Because for explosion cases, even 1 in every million users is damn serious already, Samsung, SE, Motorola never had this problem
The prob lies in their Quality Control! Understand?!

And for the return rates! It is well known that Nokia has the highest percentage (all original and Zitron! As these records are taken from authourised distributors Zitron & Avaxx for Nokia, SOuthall, T Choice , Midland for SE, FMG for both Samsung and Motorola)
Samsung has the lowest repair rate
And for your interest, i dun sell handphones nor AP Zitron sticker as u mentioned...duh

well, there are such things as very close copies of the real thing which have low standard/no QC at all...

the point is the battery is subcontracted to sum dudes in china. not made by nokia themselves.. thats why the old <8110 batteries never have any problem.

if a ori battery exploded, it is also likely that the user has dropped the battery/phone beforehand. this damages/loosens the solder points of the control circuit/diode thingies inside. it wont boom now, but after a while of usage is shorts out, overheats, and explodes

veon18
28-11-03, 18:41
'subcontracted'---> legally approved by nokia
therefore the QC are gone
Dun tell me we dun treat those NOKIA'S battery manucfacturers, legally approved and authourized by nokia, as original
that's the whole point, Nokia wans cheap workmanship in expense of their quality, thus quality of ORIGINAL Nokia products gone

personally i dun see much point in buying large size (3310/5110/9210 type) ori batteries since the battery life is much da same. price of the ori can be as much as 8x the pirated.. why pay more when its da same factory? hehe
