me hotlink dont have the password. any idea the default?

i try the command REG(send to 26000) but say my number block. maybe only for postpaid?

To receive MMS settings.

Example: Send MMS NOKIA.ACT8 6610 to 22333

After that, send any MMS to your friend, etc, after that u will receive the password from maxis for MMS retrieval without MMS enable phone.

You can now activate our MMS in a few easy steps:

* Activate GPRS*
* Set up your Mobile Phone for GPRS
* Set up your mobile phone for MMS
* Send out your first picture message to activate the picture messaging

When u've activate GPRS for Hotlink, u dun need to activate the MMS. Just download the MMS and GPRS settings from maxis. Set your phone "Use GPRS Yes" at Sending Profile(for Nokia MMS phone). Then create a MMS by insert an image. After that send the messages to any phone. After a while, u will receive this message "Welcome 6012xxxxxxx! You have successfully registered for Maxis picture messaging. You can now send and receive picture messages at any time. Your personal password for the Maxis Multimedia Store at www.maxis.com.my/mms is xxxxx". Now till 31 December GPRS is free(expect downloading polyphonic tones/games/colour message)

The GPRS system for DiGi and maxis is different. DiGi have to call Helpline to activate MMS and GPRS manually. While maxis have to activate it by yourself. Each maxis GPRS activation charges is RM10 while DiGi charge nothing.

yaloh me also activated when it's free ... but i wonder why until now also free eventhough the trial period is over .. i scare cos everytime i use gprs is like 5 minutes (dono how many kb la) like tat .. then hor .. i say when i check balance suddenly rm20 terbang ...

Relaxs. Me also can't receive MMS. But can send to email. Charge us RM10 somemore.

Hotlink GPRS connection always drop when day time and midnite. maxis service so poor already. Call helpline to ask about GPRS, the consultant buat tak layan. Ask me to wait for check for my phone compatibiity. Waste time and money. ;) (call helpline charge us local call)

Raya eve till now SMS hard to send. Even report has lost also. maxis service is getting poor and worse. maxis shouldn't so fast close 017. After merge, SMS center more and more busy.

Depend on area. I use my friend's postpaid line to use GPRS. The line also always drop.

Yes..starting a 3 weeks ago, I've numerous complaint from Maxis users who were excessively charge for local calls. One particular customer making "local call" which was supposed to be RM0.60 max per minute turned out to be RM1.20 per minute.
He promptly made a call to "122" careline and even the operator was puzzled...RM11 for 9 minutes of 'local call'. He was assured that Maxis will refund the excessive deduction but Maxis never did!!! Truly dissapointed!!!
It seems that somehow Maxis users has been rerouted to 017 and thus incurred extra charge for "call divert"...gezzzzz...as if Maxis is not RICH enough now they're siphoning Maxis Airtime recklessly!!!

first the incoming call HLR system got prob, second is the smsc system got prob, then now the HLR/billing system...haih... GPRS only works if ur standing 2 feet away from the tower...lolz

Do u all realise when we makes call with maxis, the mangga kunci will display. Do u all knows what it's mean? :confused:
