i bought a laptop from user id "volks2"

he mention in his description the notebook good condition bla bla, and got 20 gig HDD...

i contacted him as the item is on sale... so i ask him bout the condition of the notebook...as usual buyer will of course tell all the good oll thing....

we agreed to meet up at A&w ampcorp mall there....complete the deal in his waja car...but cant test the notebbok coz he said he forgot to bring the batt.... then i said give me personal warranty at least one day so i can check the stuff ......he said can call him if anything.......

test the item at home...everything works ok but then i realize that the notebook got NO SOUND and the HDD is 10 gig.........late that day contact him and inform him bout it.......he said he didnt realized bout the sound coz he used his external speaker for sound...and he apologize for the 10 gig.HDD...he did claimed his mistake ...(at this point im still ok..although think bout refunding the item)..i tell him i'll go check bout the re[pairing cost of the notebook then both party bare the cost....he said ok...

the next couple of days i manage to spend some lil time to go to lowyat for repairing purpose///....go check everysingle shop...until find the sole distributor for pc suria notebbokk....they try to repair but failed....so they suggested me to go to pc suria HQ at shah alam...

the next day i went to the HQ and they checked my notebook.....notebook confirmed got sound prob..but not the sound card...only the speaker.....repairing cost is RM150-200...i call him and tell him i repaired the notebook already but actually i didnt coz i want to make sure he will bare the cost 2gather...he he dont want coz he already sell the notebook quite cheap to me RM1250.....

at this point im kinda pissed off....

later that week i ask him for the battery.......he said he will send it to my place...waited for a couple of days....he gave reason...cant make it and busy ..bla bla.....than i missed my presentation coz notebook no battery...cant make any outdoor presentation.........than i blame him for this...and he reply "how u goin to make a presentation as the batt is kong" ........i reply " u mention last time the batt is ok" he send me another SMS " i swear to god i did tell u bout the batt condition".....its either he lying or i miss heard bout it (my mistake but still cant trust him)
so i demanded for full refund......at first he refuse.....than i complaint to buysell admin...and even went the buysell HQ to make a complaint.....buysell staff had given me some option to solve this prob out.....buysell admin even send him an email bout this.....but then he sent me SMS (not sure SMS or voicemail forgot already ) said im acting like kiddo coz informing the admin.........buysell admin gave me few option...either make a complaint at consumer tribunal council( if he still refuse to refund) or ask him to swap the 20 gig HDD or ask him for full refund ......at first i didnt really agree with the 2nd option but than after the admin gave me some advices on playing fair to each party...i agreed.....i gave him few option so he can choose the best although one of the option i dont really like it...

he agree to refund RM1K first ......n we meet up at KJ station......i purposely didnt bring the external floppy as an exchange for the RM250 he goin to owe me....

meet him up.......he didnt refund coz i didnt bring the floppy.......he gave me back the notebook and he said he'll contact me .....later that day he sent me SMS claimed that i will complete the deal with his fren for RM1300 .....his fren send me a SMS late night then we manage to arrange meet up at pizzahut TTDI 2 days later.........i waited for his fren for almost 1 hour..i gave up....go bback home..tried to contact hi fren///...didnt pick up phone.....and he/she off the phone after several try by me.......i sms volks2 mention bout this than he said he'll try to contact his fren...i even mention to him that i need the cash fast as im getting a better notebook..gave him another 2 option...either he himself refund or find another buyer for me...he choosed the 2nd option as he's goin outstation that week....he gave me "paul78" contact number (buysell member) .......

so i arrange another deal with paul .........everything ok deal closed but paul agree to take at RM1K coz got those prob.......contact him cant get thru....coz he said paul willing to buy at RM1200 and he didnt tell paul that this notebook got those prob...........after i told [paul////.....he agree to take at RM1K........deal closed....

the next week...i receive a SMS report stating that this volks received my SMS...so 'he's back from outstation' send him another SMS asking for the rest of the money a total sum of RM250......he refuse to pay...he only goin to pay RM50....i cursed him and all S#iT stuff demanded for the money....he still refused to pay as he said that my prob coz sell to paul a\t RM1K ( although i think its mayb my mistake but ......still he's the one who choose the 2nd option .to find a buyer for me)..

i treated him to make a report to buysell for the 2nd time ....he still refuse...i gave him another option...at least refund half of the amount which is RM125 .....no reply until now........i assume he dont care bout this thing anymore....

so now im asking for buysell member opinion bout this....and as for buysell admin....what should i do to claim my right.....as all thins stuff im writing about............THIS IS MY 2nd COMPLAINT to buysell ..the only diff is this time ...online...hehe///

My opinion is you already lose your right once you sell the item to Paul at 1000.
Just take the 50 ringgit for all its worth and get on.
If you think you can actually claim from volks that is good but it seem you are pressing your luck too
far this time. I don't think anyone will refund in this case. If you are volks2 and I am you cyber_x24 will you refund me 250 after all this.
Ignore the facts that volks2 lie to you because as far as correcting his mistake he has done his share. Is up to you to accept or not. Just my opinion, maybe other members will like to share.

You should make a stand and ask volks to refund your money...what his deal with 3rd party should be his problem. Now that 3rd party is involved directly buying from u, you've nothing to hold against him.

Remember to give him a seriously bad comment.

U should remember bring along the external floppy with u when meet up so that he dun give excuses not to refund.

The volks said that u are a "kid"? Actually he is acting like a kid. Everyone will logde a complain to the related unit if the buyer think there are have a potential fraud when dealing. If this thing happen to volks himself, of course he will do like this too.

Even volks2 didn't inform the notebook problem to paul78. This volks2 is useless. :mad:

u should test before buying...I think u really like that notebook..buy it so urgent without testing..

next time becarefull lah....you both got fault,if you cant test it,dont buy it,ask until he bring the battery

as you notice, this seller only advertised the product for short period only...you know why, when the auction is close, then we can't rate him...pretty clever but not so clever maa...
