Plse let us know where to get the cheapest SE P900 in Malaysia? (W/O line)

i. cannot change deafult Fonts (times new-roman only)
ii. SMS cannot display CLIPS (only display caller number)
iii. Slow (Pocket PC windows 2002) as compare to Symbian
iv. Limited software (freeware/shareware)

besides P900, Motorola MPx200 is a better choice than XDA II. (price RM1100-00 only)

hello, basically every pocket pc or phone got their limitation, what you pay is what you get. that y v call this technology.

1) for changing the fonts, well u need to copy the front from the desktop pc 2 the pda.. you can learn it via this link

2)for the sms cant display the caller name, you can download the fix from http://www.penreader.com/PocketPC/SMS_Name.html (but u need to register 1st)

3) hmm..slow huh? depand how many storage you took for installing application in the main memory. the more applications or games you install, the less memory space for other application to operate. so is better to buy a sd card to install all your appz n game in SD card, even it slow abit to run from SD card, but your PDA or PDA Phone will run fast abit. (oh yeah.. XDA only got 32 mb main memory and 32 Rom). well, actually pocket pc 2002 got some bug..i also cant stand of those bugs.. you can upgrade your XDA from pocket pc 2002 to window mobile 2003 (actually 2003 got startup bug <-- but got fix but it fast compare to pocket pc 2002)

4) well, actually got alot lot of applications and games for pocket pc 2002 n window mobile 2003. graphic nice... i m also not regret to buy ipaq for my software development.. (aiyo..that time XDA very expensive...no $$ buy... envy u....kekekeek, got such high tech PDA Phone, if you wanna sell, pls tell me though..kekkek) oh yeah.. tell you the link for freeware n shareware.

Point 3 - yeah...9210 with any more than 250 msgs in the inbox, starts to lag a bit. AT 600+ it's kinda slow (10sec+ lag). At 1000 I believe it's useless.... so u need to move the old msgs into an archive folder. MMC is better than SD la...cheaper (can get for 20-30 off lelong) and compatible with Kodak digicams and almost all PDAs

Yeah, the current high tech PDA Phone still XDA II, but too costly.. well, you will get a lot of advantages with those PDA which powered by Microsoft. you want playing Gameboy Advanced's game?? Everquest RPG?? Arcade? Monopoly... ?? Yeah, you can install and play it. the only disadvantages is you need to pay wat u want to have.... those appz not cheap though. i m really hope v can have a gang which can exchange appz which we bought from internet... hahaha...but really scare admin ban..kkeke..

well..there's always some cracked softwares..hehe......i believe we can find it easily on line, although not as many cracks as palm os, but still i think it's enuff for me

There's one shop in Sg Wang selling for RM 3100 brand new complete set warranty from Midland Sony Erricson. Its at the 2nd floor. They also sell Jabra at only RM 300.

hmm... for 3K i tink its not worth it for a 400MHz PDA (at best 400, some are slower) - i'd rather get a more powerful laptop (3.5K dell 2.x gig) and a normal phone ...say 6510/3610..

Sony Wings at KLCC selling form RM2999.00 , the standard price as usual.
Others selling high coz they're trying to make more money on the margin. After some time, they will bring it down as usual.

Tell you a secret. If you are a Sony Developer, you can get it even cheaper and earlier (than anyone) than anywhere you can find in the world. Of course, you'd have to be their software developer and the yearly licence for being one is sky high as well. Anyhow, if you're making money from it, there shouldn't be a problem as you are able to cover the cost.
