View Full Version : Celcom 019 Xplore
I have some questions to ask about this package. I hope to get some feedback.
The starter kit is RM48.
How much is the preloaded airtime? Valid for how long?
After that, how long can I go without topping up, and yet still can receive calls/SMS before termination of line?
How long will the recharge of RM50 last before suspension of line?
For call rates, the charge is for blocks of how many seconds? Or is it in 1minute blocks?
How much is International SMS ?
Is Network Access & Airtime applicable here???
Thanks!!!
Partygal since ur enquiries iz very long..y dont u call d Celcom Prepaid Helpline @ 019-3000 909 n they will surely provided all d informations..

Both celcom and DiGi also gives bonus. DiGi if in 3 months reload exceeding RM200, they will gives u 5% bonus. celcom every recharge have bonus(for recharging before expiry date)
Many said that maxis now starting to cekik darah. Especially the International SMS charges and GPRS fees. This is because they need to gain profit after takeover of TIMECel.
What about credit rollover? Will they roll the balance of RM50 to the following months? What is the maximum amount that they allow to be accumulated? RM500 ah?

Why some starter kits RM48, some RM68 ? What's the difference? In the preloaded airtime ah?
Why some starter kits RM48, some RM68 ? What's the difference? In the preloaded airtime ah?
Simple reason:The cost price is around $43 for the Xplore packs. If the shop sell at 48, very little profit wan... but the listed price printed on the pack is 48. (RRP is 48).
DO NOT BUY FROM HP SHOPS SELLING AT 68. (unless its a "special number" - that wan another story). Buy from a $48 price shop. If u want to know where to get, there are 2 places where u can buy it from at $48 (confirm).
GOOD PLACES:
a) The KLCC LRT station, there got a little hp booth near the auto ticket machines.
b) At Hello Station AMPANG POINT, ask for Jeff and say that you're Andy Choong's fren. Also ask him to give cheaper (i think can get 47 if ur lucky) :D
BAD PLACES (TO AVOID):
a) The V V Group "booth" in Cold Storage KLCC (I really hate the face and attitude of the chinese-educated punks working there...tak professional langsung...and treats u like sh*t)
b) Certain booths in Carrefour Subang Level4 near to McD (also the staff attitude problem)

There is no difference in preloaded airtime in the Xplore series. Only the GREEN colour Xceed has a difference ($98, preloaded 50 OR $128, preloaded 70)

Yeap. All VV Group selling Xceed prepaid RM58. But all 3 series and the number is quite OK. Got double and dun have '4' in the number. My friend dulu bought an Ericsson T28sc from VV Group. After a few months, the phone got problems. They told him to go to Main Office in Menara Promet. U know how long they service the phone? 6 months. They cheat him also. They said is a ori warranty. But when I saw the warranty card, it's VV Group warranty. :( All VV Group booth also like that not just KLCC.
ceo684, u got friend work at Ampang Point Hello Station? I when lunch go there jalan-jalan.
The RRP is 48, its blatantly unethical to sell at 58 or 68 (KLCC). 3 series....aiyah...mana mana oso can get la.... 377 series can get easily, even in the KLCC LRT ticketing machine's hp booth there, with 2 malay ladies wan.. at only 48
VV Group as far as I am concerned is not the best/not a good company to deal with. Not recommended.
yeap...one malay-chinese looking guy, name's Jeff

VV shop Kotaraya 1st floor I saw 1 sales girl smoking when no customer come. Yeah. Sometimes in buysell we can get bulk numbers for RM45.
chenyc...how to take LRT/bus to ampang POINT ar?? long time din go ampang... forgot dee... my fren transferred there from carrefour hello station till now i havent went to his new place...lol
also on smoking...i tried b4 oso no "kick" (no "high") wan...waste of time and $$ smoking

If from KL, u can take 176, 178, 24C, Metrobus 28. If from Chow Kit, u can take 34A and 24A. If from Lot 10 u can take 66. Better dun take 23 because they will turn left before the bridge and u have to walk to Ampang Point.
Cheers! :p
mm...thanks...metrobus 28 start (accessible) frm kotaraya rite?
mm...thanks...metrobus 28 start (accessible) frm kotaraya rite?
U have to walk to Jalan HS Lee to get metrobus 28.
Oh...around there oni... k k... thanks!
Just help my friend activate her celcom GPRS. The speed more faster than maxis.
Then the celcom CLIR service is magnificient. We can either choose to display or not to display our number from the phone settings. But maxis CLIR, once u've activated it, it can't be turn on or off. But maxis CLIR service is Rm5 a month and celcom Rm10 a month. celcom call divert we can use all(Divert when busy, Divert when phone off/out of coverage, Divert when no answer, Divert all incoming calls) But maxis can use Divert all incoming calls only. :( maxis is very 'cha sui'.
aiyah...nonit so susah wan...juz use a public phone (kadfon) card.. automatic CLIR ledi :D
celcom VAS package (subscribe for item'd bill + divert + waiting) @ $8 is cheaper than u take maxis VAS's i believe

Public phone also have number appear also ler. :D I dun mind paying more but the service is 'canggih' and reliable it is OK for me. :)
xplore surely best value for normal guy like me..
but celcom should at least make the sim 32 k..
8k totally unacceptable..
r u agree guys n gals..
using xplore 2 number oledi..
i like the bonus sms..
good coverage/signal..
What's the difference between 8K & 32K ?
I would like to know what's the maximum credit they let us accumulate before eating the $$$ since I do not make calls....
8K = 10 or 15 SMS storage, 100 phonebook
32K = 30 SMS storage, 250 phonebook
u can accumulate lotsa credit...no/very high limit...celcom got $200 reload coupons that last 6 months...hehehe...
me i use xceed prepaid as a backup line...cos call more nowadays...main calls and sms use the billing line :D
also...forgot 2 mention, 32K simcards have the Celcom STK feature.. (something like the easyaccess on 012)

Yup. New Xplore pack now also have like the EasyAccess function. My friend's Xceed have that thingy also.
amazon2020 06-02-04, 23:09 Yup. New Xplore pack now also have like the EasyAccess function. My friend's Xceed have that thingy also.
meaning now, the old Xplore SIM card can upgrade to the 32k SIM card liao? last time only Xceed and Xcel can.
amazon2020 06-02-04, 23:16 What is Easy Access?
EasyAccess is the extra menu you''ll get on your SIM card if ur using a 64K Maxis SIM card. it lets u check news, bill, horoscope, cinema scedule (tgv & gsc) and also make reservations, and lots more more lah. kind of good, but the bad thing is, once u try to retrieve an information using EasyAccess, the SIM card goes busy and u can't even send SMS. compared to Celcom eventhough only 32K SIM card, when using their extra Celcom features on the SIM card, you can continue retreiving several information from it.
aiyo partygal ... easyaccess 012 = djuice 016 = celcom 019 STK feature (the extra menu with those movie booking sched; CNN news; hotel info; taxi info etc).
the $48 xplore now 32K dee meh?
amazon: all the while, the 8K prepaid SIMs can be upgraded anytime at the celcom centers; costs u $50; also its recommended to bring ur SIMpack stuff (for proof of purchase?)

New Xplore pack got the STK liao. :) Upgrade 8K to 32K for RM50 is not worth ler. maxis Hotlink upgrade to 32K EasyAccess RM10 is expensive also. :( Sometimes the celcom SMS sot sot. My friend's SMS balance RM-0.25. :D Have to call Careline to deduct money from airtime manually.
Today my sister graduate at UPM Serdang. After the ceremony I can't call out using my maxis line. Network busy. Other network can. Why maxis when big day, can't call out? Disappointed.
So is the Xplore pack that is selling now 8K only, and then we have to go to Celcom centre & pay RM50 to upgrade or is RM48 pack already 32K?

The new Xplore pack with Recommended Retail Price tag have 32K SIM card. Old pack without the tag only 8K. If u bought the 8K type, u have to go celcom branches for upgrading.
OIC. thanks for the clarification.
yalo...haih....2 days ago or so...connection error OR kena voicemail when calling in/out maxis line or prepaid, klang area. ***!! summore only 9pm!
