Their pattern? very simple.. all also if u notice these phantom accounts will jack up price to to RMXXX definitely the last digit is 9.
(Example: 699, 69, 799, 499...). ALL of these accounts are also created on certain dates of the month (SEE DEC 8 HOW MANY ACCOUNTS?!,MONTH
OF SEPTEMBER WITHIN the 6 days so many accounts?!).
All of them also 0 ratings and feedbacks.

Friend let help our community here to catch the price jacker ,if its true i sudah kena tipu, ingatkan nak buat sedikit profit, some their item also not all is 100 original, local made, My friend told me (the acessories shop). I dont know what to do now...a lot a money i spend here.

they have the same "pattern" like omni999 found.... but well, I'm not dare to point out who... maybe omni999 can help... haha.. (tqtq 1st)

FYI, one of the most common pattern is "price starts at RM1".

anyway, like what omni999 said, if you don't want to sell the item at RM1, put a reserved price there!

Don't worry about the price jacker. Just put down the price that you willing to pay, that's it. :)

yeah...i think it won't impact the buyer...cause you just buy according to ur price expectation... the price jacker should not impact much....

If we have the stand to pay a certain amount is ok.... But sometimes we tends to forget about it when bidding....

If you like to playing the bidding game and pay at the lowest price is either you seek for the thrill or you are too broke to own that item. :)

This fellow uses MSN msg me and want to buy USD700 from me. He shown me his online store, his lelong ratings and bla bla bla. The first day it was nearly 12am. So he said that he is still waiting for TAC. If RM was not send in 5 mins, he will refund me. After 5 mins, he didn't send me RM, but refund me all USD700.

The next day he uses MSN to request for USD790 again. That amount was all USD that i have. He needs USD urgently, and I needs RM urgently. Agains, he sweettalk me to send paypal first, because i was working at that time, too many thing in my mind, and i always thought that paypal will protect buyer (the one that pays money), so i send him USD790. After that, he went offline, and he didn't hp. So, 10 mins later, i quickily went to paypal resolution center and claim "Unauthorised Third Party Dispute". After half an hour, he went online and ask me what happen. That bastard, he should have send me RM, but he gave a lot of excuse like he got urgent call etc. I did call his hp, it was not engage and he just didn't answer. What a liar.


To my dismay, after CNY, i went to my paypal account and check the transaction is complete and the money was not refund. I called Paypal Singapore, and was told that investigation show that there is no unauthorised third party. Quick certain that i am the one using the account. Then i tell paypal the real story, she told me i should have choosen item dispute instead of unauthorised. Now that i have claim dispute before, i couldn't claim again. Paypal asked me to contact Max Audio Online and ask him to issue refund if the money was not legal gain from buy-sell activity (con case).


U know, con-man always off their phone. He didn't on his phone, didn't reply email. I caught him online on his MSN the night. So i asked him to refund. He just kept saying his account was hacked. He shown me a few screenshot, then he asked me to contact the hacker. (Ironic?!) Hacker was his fren?!

Then hacker told me that hacker and Max audio didn't take my money.
Max try to issue dispute that someone hack his account but the it appear that that transaction was already filed dispute and case closed d.

Very slim chances for me to get back my money since paypal is a dumb ass. I may have loss this USD790 due to my stupidity in believe people. Guys, when u need RM urgently, and paypal only allow USD495 per day, and it takes 5-7 days to clear into your creditcard, then it is another hussle to withdraw them from creditcard, u may end up like me, selling for urgent needs. Just be careful of the people, cannot trust at all...

Or can we all team up to report to the MCA and ask them to assist in getting an appropriate authority to "investigate" their activities. Also, I do not believe they pay their income tax in accordance to the transaction they made via lelong. if we report to the Inland Revenue Board (Income Tax), I am sure it would be another story!!!

Basically, my expeience tells never bid items that below their cost price as these sellers MUST make money to survive. If you bid below their cost price, either you will get an imitate or fake product, or they will make all kind of excuses such as out of stock, mistake made by their staff, office close, stock has been taken by other distributors, the manufacturer no longer produce the product, manufacturer close their business or stop production, etc... no matter how you will be the losser. They will not entertain you as they will not "waste" their money on telephone calls. You can call them 100 times, but you will get the same excuses most of the time.

I urge those has been cheated by these sellers, please team up to provide the evidence and go direct to the MCA or local authority. I am sure these people will be in big trouble!!!

You are always benchmark with Brothers (sorry I am not their fan but I always find out the price from their store). Don't ever bid above the market price. Imagine that if you pay a little bit higher BUT you will get the warranty from the shop and the shop owner cannot simply run away within a night. Also, you can check the product physically first before you buy. What is see from the lelong may not be what you are going to receive later... most of the time it is so difficult or impossible for us to get the money refund. If the product that you receive not in perfect condition, they will blaim the courier company or Pos Malaysia. So, you got high possibility to be "unlucky" lo!!!

Trust me, they are "well prepared" to cheat people ... They have been trained to do this. Otherwise, what else can they do? Are they able to compete in the market?

Of course, there are many good sellers as well. I hope probably we should have a "voting" system for all buyers to bid for their favorite sellers. Indicates them as "recomended seller" or "Seller of the year" and so on...

No friend, not to the extend yet. We are educated people and we will play dirty trick like him. I just intend to put him in the justice and let face those nasty people in he jail.

LELONG are not smart enough. They always think of short terms benefits. Imagine that as what you said if everyone go buy car accrssories and souds system out there, then, other good sellers will be affected too. We just want to take action against the culprit, no other good sellers.

If anyone can give me his house address, I intend to go to his house to collect my money back from his parents or his family members. Probably, there are people would like to follow me as well.
