' actually hor, to all the gals out there...giving birth not painful lah...if u are used to those monthly mestrual cramps....its almost similar just that its taking a higher degree of cramps. My first baby labours lasted almost 12 hrs with occasional breaks of waters and with cramps starting at 15 mins interval at 6 hrs onwards, until the cramps becomes more frequent that i dreaded looking at the clock knowing the cramps are coming.....why? because u are lying flat on the delivery bed with some gadget attached to the tummy to monitor the baby's heart beating....so, when the cramps comes, u cannot lurched urself into a shrimp position as what we normally did during our menstrual pain.....so, had to lay flat and endure the pain.....PAIN........haha, gals, dun worry laa, u know why we are the lucky one to give births? Because females are better at handling pain......than males. chilicandy 07-09-03, 12:03 and btw, ur perception or the pelvis becomes "longgar" is absolutely wrong ler....its natural skin will retract back to its original size, of course minus the virgin size la... speedo 07-09-03, 12:08 and btw, ur perception or the pelvis becomes "longgar" is absolutely wrong ler....its natural skin will retract back to its original size, of course minus the virgin size la... Because females are better at handling pain......than males. but what about the time when u push the baby out? that's where all the energy is needed rite? won't it be painful also? Partygal 08-09-03, 13:18 hahha, won't shrink one lar.paling teruk the arsehole kecut nia :D :D Wahahahaha U tried eh? chilicandy 08-09-03, 14:28 but what about the time when u push the baby out? that's where all the energy is needed rite? won't it be painful also? this is where most gals thoughts the pain would be, but in actual, the pain is still on the "menstrual cramps" side.... for my dotter, there wasnt much pain during the "pushing", but for my son, the pain is unbearable. Because he "stretches" as i am pushing him out....... hehe, i hope u dont faint listening to all these..... chilicandy 08-09-03, 14:36 hey i was thinking..r those stitching work a necessity???how bout old days??? those people don stitch one right? what is the main purpose???anyway this makes me feel dam lucky because i'm a guy hehe:P oyeah iwas thinking anyone tried "kam kuai fei" that traditional med??can relief menstrual pain mer??nowadays no more advertisement from them anymore:P haha, the more u ask, the more gruesome details u gonna hear...sure u want to hear? haha... well, the lucky things with our modern technology is that, nowadays, the stitchings "threads" used those that will melts itself away. During my sis-in-law times, they had to go back to the doctor for the "unstitched" session after it had heal. So, imagine those pain they hav to go through. in those days, where there is no technology so great as now, its all depended on the mom herself, she had to push, and if she pushes too hard or badly, she would had torn her vaginal during the stretch. Which is why, as what cloud7 mentioned, rate of death during childbirth is higher than nowadays. lynnee 08-09-03, 14:47 this is where most gals thoughts the pain would be, but in actual, the pain is still on the "menstrual cramps" side.... for my dotter, there wasnt much pain during the "pushing", but for my son, the pain is unbearable. Because he "stretches" as i am pushing him out....... hehe, i hope u dont faint listening to all these..... naaah, won't faint... heheheh... tell more so i can prepare myself mentally for the actual event... :D fear of pain ofcos still there... but unless caesarian (which i think is no fun cos din't feel anything), still have to go thru some pain when giving birth... chilicandy 08-09-03, 14:53 i think its better to go through a natural birth than caesarian...because, its really a wholesome experience...the best part is, after all the hard labour , pain and pushing, u get to see the child, in its most natural condition (they will place the baby on top of u when they cut & tie the uterus), then they will show u ur baby before its taken away for washing....the feeling, when it all finished, is just so great...its like ending a battle and u are the winner... tgnj 08-09-03, 14:57 I tot my mom said ... first time ... is like 18th lvl hellish pain. After that ... 2 and 3rd is like pangsai onli ... kekeke. That's why my younger bro are much darker than me. Came out together with the poo. Kekeke. chilicandy 08-09-03, 14:59 hahaha..funny TGNJ! ye know why its hellish pain for her? because she's giving birth to a boy mah...the bone structure of boy and gal is diff. Its easier to giv birth to a gal than a boy.... tgnj 08-09-03, 15:15 My mom said ... she tot gozilla coming out of her belly. I said ... sei mou ... cos ... my dad surname is 'Goh'. She is Goh Si Lai ... gozilla in chinese. Kekeke. Boy or girl no different~laaa ... all same size come out. If twin even more susah ... yours is what ... if come out x3 ... somebody going to cry for help lynnee 08-09-03, 15:22 i think its better to go through a natural birth than caesarian...because, its really a wholesome experience...the best part is, after all the hard labour , pain and pushing, u get to see the child, in its most natural condition (they will place the baby on top of u when they cut & tie the uterus), then they will show u ur baby before its taken away for washing....the feeling, when it all finished, is just so great...its like ending a battle and u are the winner... yea... caesarian seems too easy... get knocked out, wake up... baby is there already. i guess its important to go thru the natural process... that way u can bond better with the baby... i think? lynnee 08-09-03, 15:23 hahaha..funny TGNJ! ye know why its hellish pain for her? because she's giving birth to a boy mah...the bone structure of boy and gal is diff. Its easier to giv birth to a gal than a boy.... woh, i din't know this... thot both also same only one... chilicandy 08-09-03, 15:50 easy lynnee, next time u see a baby gal, u try rub her back and shoulder, feel the bone structure, next time u see a baby boy, u do the same thing. You will notice that baby boy's shoulder and back are harder than gals.... lynnee 08-09-03, 15:52 will do chili... thanks for the tip :D so... chili jr the 3rd... boy or gal? chilicandy 08-09-03, 16:11 haha...hav 2 wait at least i m 5th month , then only we will know starwai 08-09-03, 16:12 i tot u wanna know it the traditional way? starwai 08-09-03, 16:12 then we all do betting..hehe... boy or gal... btw, guyz... Andromedia revealed "HIS" gender dee.... lynnee 08-09-03, 16:19 oh? where? chilicandy 08-09-03, 16:25 goto chilicandy corner, the answer is there...hehe bdl 08-09-03, 21:39 --heh..heh... I knew he is "boy" after chatting with him online several times-liao... --that's why you can see I cast the vote to "male" in chilli's circle... :D ... suyi0330 08-09-03, 21:48 lynnee baby, dont u think tht hving to undergo the caesarian process is fun, cos the great pain is yet to come, tht is after few days, n u will hv to practice tighter pantang, for really long time, probably longer than mummys who gave birth naturally, tht is wht i heard lah .. keke lynnee 09-09-03, 08:24 lynnee baby, dont u think tht hving to undergo the caesarian process is fun, cos the great pain is yet to come, tht is after few days, n u will hv to practice tighter pantang, for really long time, probably longer than mummys who gave birth naturally, tht is wht i heard lah .. keke itu macam sudah tak syok lar... if it has to be pain, lets just get over with it ASAP! hehehe. Partygal 10-09-03, 15:23 A Big Salute To All Mothers! lynnee 11-09-03, 08:40 yeah, ASAP also can mean hours and hours of labour... :P what i meant by ASAP was ...as what suyi said, if u did a caesarian the pain only comes later... u don't feel the pain during the childbirth itself. who knows how long the after pains will last?? probably longer than 26 hours also... my colleague who did a caesarian said, after giving birth, coughing, pangsai-ing & doing various other activities is extremely painful... & it can go on for quite awhile. for normal birth, the pain is only during the birth...after that no more pain liao... so what i'm saying is why prolong the pains? get it over fast fast lah!! Partygal 11-09-03, 15:03 for normal birth, the pain is only during the birth...after that no more pain liao... There won't be painful meh? :o vivienlpl 11-09-03, 15:24 There won't be painful meh? :o damn direct hor u hehehe....should ask.. chilicandy .... she should be the expert by now :) Partygal 11-09-03, 20:59 HAHAHA not that direct la.. Cloud7 09-10-03, 02:44 women too powerful already... controlling men jor... :p pennywise 09-10-03, 04:28 A female friend of mine is so afraid of giving birth. So there was once I got a forwarded mail about this lady went through abortion and I forwarded it to her and ONLY her. Heh! Now, she's even more afraid. But oh well, life is such, you havent reach that point in life, you're scared - you dont want to do it. When you reach there, you'd say "I wanna carry you baby." to your husband. So to all women in the world, dont worry about it first. Come to that stage in life only start worrying. My favorite verse from the Bible. - Matt6:34 - Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Cloud7 09-10-03, 12:55 wah, pennywise so bad... go & scare the poor girl like that... :o Partygal 11-10-03, 21:42 Live one day at a time :D Cloud7 13-10-03, 13:03 well, that's one way... :p Partygal 13-10-03, 21:36 Any other ways?
