Go to Symentac website and download the removal tool. Should be able to work. lunaticg 15-05-04, 16:26 hi, lunaticq, you can type "issas.exe problem" in yahoo search engine, or just click on the below link and see whether you can find any solution: http://www.resellerratings.com/forum/t37455.html Had done that but resellerratings.com is a forum, had to read all of the posting, got 'pening' by to many suggestion there. Everytime I log in to internet or check for viruses, the win xp will reboot itself after certain period of time. It also keep asking for windows installer. Will try to find a patch or something at symantec site. Hopefully no harm done to this computer since this got original xp in it and I had read in the forum you suggested that it need to be re-install or uninstall the SP1 or something. arrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! pening.... alancheah 15-05-04, 16:32 yes, lunaticg, that is one of the overseas' IT technical stuff forum. I have solved many of my labtop's system problems through those forums. Many of them are really experienced by giving many good solutions. You can download two spyware programs FREE to check on your existing problems: 1) Ad-aware 6.0, and 2) Spy Sweeper After you download the Ad-aware, remember to update the latest pattern database. Then, run two scannings: 1) Perform system smart scan, and 2) Use custom scanning options Must do both because each will scan different areas in the system. Spy Sweeper is good as it can monitor the cookies real time and delete them straight away. Good luck. lunaticg 15-05-04, 17:16 Thanks guy. I think it had been solved now. Had download the virus removal from symantec. Its call W32.Sasser as mention by pming. No wonder I don't find it before in there. Thanks again. I hope it will settle it. alancheah 16-05-04, 01:00 Glad to know about it. Nowadays, our computer's system can be infected by virus or worms or spywares easily. I believe that my labtop's system still got some very smart spywares hidding deep in the heart in the system. In order to 100% clean them up, I need to purchase those mentioned softwares in Pro. Edition. As long as the normal system can run and those smart spywares do not actually make any serious damage to my system, I don't think I want to spend the money on those softwares. kkngan78 01-11-04, 11:23 Let me know the error number and error description. |
