Hi :) - Found out on Saturday that a friend's dad actually died of a heart attack after downing a brew of durians n alcohol in his diet....anyone else care to share any bitter experience about this? :(

yes you cannot eat durian mix with alcohol......

i remember once i ate two seeds of durian and later at nite ( about 5 hrs later) i drank DOM. I obviously forgotten i had eaten some durian earlier. That nite, it was so heaty that i get headache. I felt my whole person burning..... so just imagine, those ppls who consume alcohol and eat durian at the same time?

Durians are so heaty and when mixed with alcohol has a very bad effect and nausea feeling... after that your body will burst into cold sweats..

Think for a moment.... Durian, even after consumed, still emits lots of gases....(Notice the burrrrp...... and the stinking smell of durian everytime you burp). I guess the acid in our stomach is having a chemical reaction with the durian.

Then, think again. Alcohol contains some sort of chemical in it. Ever tried taking "Johnny Walker" and feel the stinking spirit taste????

Then mix the durian and the alcohol together, "BOOOOOOM" a very potent chemical reaction occurs in our body. Heat, heat, heat..... we definately feel the heat built up in our body and as in the nature of our body resistance, it has it's limits..... Over it, we can say goodbye to this world we know....:)

The best durians are thought to be ones which are most rare n only exist in certain areas in durians growing world....guess like wines, or any other fruits around world, or err...everything else in this world for the matter... :)

In our country...there are plenty of people who would go any distance n pay anyprice....in search of the best tasting durians...

Hi Viv :) - Ordinary layman macam gua wouldn't even be able to tell what's the dozens of durians varieties available on the street...how to tell if they are of the best hybrid ones leh? D24 can anyone tell me how to identify this one? How about D2 or Ang Hey, for an instance? Then there are plenty of kampung varieties also...? How to tell whether which variety of Siam durians are good? What is the names of the varieties to look for? :confused: BLURR already leh....

Even the formula milk i only start drinking them when i am 13 yrs old. When i was younger, u gave me all these, i will start vomitting.
