Why buy cheap? Buy quality better, isn't it? How long can a cheap CD-R last compared to a more expensive quality one? E.g. compared to Mitsui gold blanks?

I've burnt hundreds of them (the cheaper one at 0.85 per and not the black one at RM1.20 per), and only so far 1 CD was not perfect (ie vcd playback was not smooth). None of them were defective. But the rated 48x is not quite correct. Should be 40x lah...

The different between 730MB and 700MB is only 30MB woh, I think if you really found a CD-R label 730MB it will be just marketing strategy only lah.

I have this problem too.
The X-Files series I downloaded is about 360mb each so one normal CDR cannot fit two episodes.

Now you don't expect me to re-encode all err... 70 or 80 episodes spanned across 4 seasons do u???

I heard market got 800mb CDRs, but never tried looking for it. Probably will start looking. Or maybe get a fren to burn on DVD lah.... Much better.
