summons and renewal of road tax
hi,
i have successfully renewed my 2004 road tax. at that time, i checked the web, there was no outstanding summon. but, this year (2005), i checked the web-site and found that i have 2 unpaid summons (speeding), one is 2002, another is 2003. i think they just keyined their system. my question is: can i renew my 2005 roadtax with these outstanding summons (meaning, i dont want to pay these summons  )??i plan to renew it at post office. TQ jigc --------------------- answer: YES, i can pay my roadtax.

i'm thinking, if i renew it at post office, i may escape as last time (year 2004).
both are speeding summons.

Ermm... dulu i already kena. Got two summon tidak bayar. I go to Pos Office, try to renew my roadtax and insurance. My application rejected coz has been blacklisted. Have to pay the summons, then they issue some letter to renew. then have to go to JPJ to renew.

this is my story :
i have 3 summons : 2001 - Did not put on safety belt when i met a road block - RM60 2001 - Accident - RM300 2003 - Salah parking - RM30 When i wanted to renew my road tax last year July, i was unable to do so because my summons were still outstanding. they asked me to pay my summon 1st - safety belt RM60 - then i successfully renewed my road tax

If you have an outstanding summonses for your vehicle, you can renew your road tax. Not a problem but if you want to renew your driving licence, the you'll have major problem. They will suspend your application.

this is interesting!
i checked at: http://www.rilek.com.my got 2 summons. but i checked JPJ website, i has not been blacklisted... they are not related: traffic police vs jpj??
