Posting Policy for Aucitons, Item For Sale and eClassifieds.

This section appear in your item posting page and before you post any item for sale or auction, you have to agree to obey the posting policy, rules and regulation.

1. Item Sold Before Auction
For auction items, you cannot sell your item(s) to any other buyer before auction close (time frame is set by you when you post your auction). Most of the bids are placed at the last minute. You are not allowed to accept any email offer or outside offer during the auction period.

1a.If seller claim that item is spoilt, seller are required to provide a proof to the bidders. However, we reserve the right to place a remark in your profile or suspend the account if found item is actually sold off to someone else.

1b. If you post any item on behalf of anyone, please refer to item 12

2. Illegal Item
If you are not sure whether what you are selling is illegal or not (both by Laws of Malaysia or BuySell Regulations), please write in to clarify the service or the product that you are selling. In the event that you failed to do so, we reserved the rights to suspend your account or your item or both without notification. Here's how to write to us :

3. Type of Advertisement Not Allowed
You may NOT post any items related to banner, advertisement, duplicate posts, spams, bonuses, free gifts/giveaways/prizes, porn, pirated VCD/software, misleading title, inaccurate posting or any items prohibited by the laws of Malaysia. Your posting should not contain any links/url that may refer/redirect users to own/self promote sites (except for Buysell Store Members). Here's how to be a store member.

4. Item Not Allowed
items include those that :

- promote sexually explicit materials (pornography)
- promote violence
- promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
- promote illegal activities
- otherwise violate intellectual properties rights

We reserve the right to remove any of your posting without notification.

5. Item With Misleading Price or Misleading Title
Any item with misleading price and title will be removed. Example, posting item For Sale with price RM1.00, in actually fact, there's noting in your posting which sold for RM1.00.

6. Account Reactivation Fees - RM25.00
Any violation of these rules will result in your account being suspended immediately. If you wish to re-activate your account, we will charge an Account Re-Activation fees of RM25.00. Even so, we reserve the rights NOT to accept your payment and Not to re-activate your Account.

7. Suspension of All Related Account
.Suspension of your account may apply to all accounts related to yours and may, at our discretion, apply to members of the same household, company or premise. Suspensions may range from 1 day to indefinite. You are to be responsible for their suspension.

8. Your Handphone and Email
We advice you not to reveal your handphone number, email or any direct contact in your posting. We have received many complaint on scams, phone spamming, fraud, and outside deals via phone thus, sell their products before the auction ended leaving unhappy bidder.

Make sure your e-mail and mobile phone in Lelong Account is correct and accurate to ensure seller/buyer can contact each other after the auction closed.

9. Seller - Please Contact your buyer with best effort
Buyer and Seller must contact each other within 3 business days to conclude the transaction. Failure to do that may result in Account Suspension or Bad Comment in your profile.

10. Dispute
If dispute arise, please CC a copy of your email conversation to feedback@lelong.com.my.

11. Same Location / Same IP
All User within the same range of IP / or sharing same computer, if your roommates, housemates, colleagues from same office who want to bid on your items are required to verified. Please read this first before you post to avoid your auctions being removed or account being suspended for auction manipulation.

12. You responsible for your item
You take the full responsibility of your account and for all items you post up for auction or for sale in this site, irregardless you are helping your friends, family members, spouse, classmate or etc.

When you post your item, you are ask to agree to all the above terms and agree to pay RM25.00 for account re-activation fees, due to any violation of the above terms.

Note that you cannot proceed, if you do not agree. I have read, understand and agreed to all the Terms and Conditions stated here.If I have been found violating the Posting Rules and Regulation stated by BuySell, I am willing to pay RM25 as penalty fees. I also acknowledged that BuySell reserved the rights to not re-activate my account without giving any reason.

13. Seller's Requirement To Fill Up Additional Form

To facilitate sales order capturing, We do not prohibit sellers requesting buyers to fill up additional form solely for sales order purposes, however, it can only be optional, and up to the buyer to decide if they want to fill up any external forms apart from using our check out system. We do not view the buyers non compliance as non paying bid (NPB).

Added for posting software / games / intellectual property related items. You can find this in your posting screen as well.

Important :

1. For all software, ringtones, Java games, Phone Games, Java application, phone software and intellectualy properties related posting, seller are required to be a verified member.

2. If you are found selliing illegal / pirated copy, we may suspend your account . All item posted are assumed to be licensed / legal copy or otherwise stated by seller.

3. No refund if your posting are removed for this reason.
