Default Beware of Sitiawan Handphone Shops

Due to the lackdaisical attitude of local police over here in Sitiawan, there are at least 2 handphone shops robbed a month average over here. ( there are over 100 shops )

Even though descriptions have been given over and over again but yet the two robbers ( same robber on robbing-spree ) are scoot-free, they are literally challenging our police forces doing the same thing on the same venue over and over again.

Now, handphone shops are taking matters in their own hands and keeping samurai swords and parangs in their own hidden counters to counter-measure these kind of attempts in the future.

So, next time please becareful and don't threaten any handphone shops in Sitiawan because they might mistake you for the robbers !!!

No choice ler...
Just two days ago another handphone shop got robbed in Sitiawan, two male robbers came in with two parangs into a shop in Sri Manjung.

There were 3 staffs in the shop, two guys and one girl so one of the guy quickly went to the backroom and brought out a samurai sword to chase away the robbers.

Robbers panicked because the samurai sword was longer, and their parangs couldn't reach the victim so they got angry and smashed the showcases with their parang. After that, they shouted to the staffs to open the door ( it was magnetically-locked).

The staffs thinking about their safety eventually let him go by releasing the magnetic lock. Don't be surprised if handphone shops in Sitiawan carry guns next !

I doubt u guys would read this news in the newspaper, because it jeopordizes the image of the police in Sitiawan, u see the description given by the victims of robberies were of the same people, same style, same vehicle and same

Yes, the robbers are local. Sitiawan was once a nesting site for Chinese gangsters, when the authorities stepped in, most of them disbanded leaving those all scattered all over.

Now these people used to run turf machines (kuda gambling machine), selling pirated vcds and also smuggling. Two years ago, these gangsters was published in the chinese newspapers for collecting protection fees from numerous business outlets in Sitiawan ( even that has been curbed with the help of MCA ).

When all of these are not viable, they had no other sort of income except robbery. They couldn't resort to working for other people because their level of education is very low or none for that matter. ( they never finish school and school was only a way for them to recruit members ).

Alas, what do we see from here ?
