Default Close Anytime Auction - New Auction Method

Close Anytime Auction

Introducing a fun and interesting new auction method. "Close Anytime Auction"

When you post a standard auction, there is an option which allows the item to be closed before time. Once enabled, the seller can close the auction anytime deemed fit and the item must be sold to the highest bidder. (Not to anyone outside the auction system. Eg offer via e-mail).

You can still select the posting period from 1 to 10 day, however, if the bid amount meets your requirement, you can then decide to close this auction anytime and sell to the highest bidder.

If the auction is closed and item are not sold to the highest bidder, bidder can always file a report and we will suspend the seller account immediately.

If you are the seller, please make sure you have read this and understood how this method works to avoid account suspension. As usual, we do not handle reason with "I don't know that ....". If you are not sure, please contact us for more information before you decide to use this auction method.

As for bidder, the seller will not inform you earlier if they decided to close this earlier, we advice all bidder to make full use of the autobid (Proxy bid), so that they system will help to bid for the best price.

Other FAQ

Is there any charges ?
To use this auction, here's the standard fees for Close Anytime Auction:

1. RM 0.20 to enable this option.
2. RM0.50 for winning bid price R1-RM99.99 or RM1.00 for winning bid above RM100.00

What if I still close it according to the standard posting period (follow the system closing procedure), will I be charged ?
You will only charge for RM0.20 for service activation, but will not be charge for the closing fees.

What if no bidder and I closed it ?
In this case, we will still charge you for the service activation and the closing fees according to your start price.

Who Pay ?Seller, of course.

Can I close anytime and sell to other non bidder, or any other buyer who interested in my close anytime auction ?

No. Only to the highest bidder, if the highest bidder joybid, you can report to us, and offer to the second highest bidder, but it will then up to the 2nd bidder to decide to take up the offer.

Is there refund if the bidder joybid ?
Yes, but only the closing fees, which is either RM0.50 or RM1.00. We will not refund the RM0.20 for using the services.

Once I closed it, what should I do as a seller ?
Email will be sending out to the winning bidder. You can also check in your Admin Panel for their contact information.

As a buyer, will I be notified if the seller decided to close this anytime ?
No, since this is a close anytime auction, when you bid, you already know, thus, we advice all bidder make full use of the autobid. There will be no notification to any current bidder.

my suggestion is if can try to put to fees and charges to use this type of auction to higher abit like
RM 0.50 to enable this option
RM 1 ~ RM99 ~ charge RM1
RM100 ~ RM199 ~ charge RM2
RM200 ~ RM299 ~ charge RM3
and so on...

Reason is simple: To avoid misuse or abuse .

Just suggestion only... any "eye deer"?

aiya, like this ah those the buyers cannot grab/ place the bid at last minute ai................
for currently 1 ah, we can monitor our bids at/ until the last minute and place the bid if we want.... but with this kind of auction, we no more/ a bit chance to do like this coz the buyer will close his/ her auction item suddenly if he/ she think the price is reasonable/ target price to him/ her...............

I'm like to place my final bid at the last minute if I really like the posted item....... so sad if this kind of auction is really happen in future.......... no more exciting to grab item at last minute.......

but if I'm a seller, I won't use the feature, I'll let the auction end until the last minute that I'd set........ let other members who is really like it get the last chance to grab it..........

Yupe.. i also agree.. why would a seller wan to close the auction so soon. sure wan to take risk c got last minute bidder ma. From what i see most senior lelong member like to bid last minute. Sometimes this way also make the auction more interesting. Sometimes got 2-3 bidder will bid at last minute, like this more "chi kek"=exciting ma.

Hemm, i agree with other that it is not good for last minute bidder, like me, i use to bid on the very last minute ( dats y i miss a lot of auctions ).
If the seller wanna end da auction earlier, then will miss out d other buyer who willing to pay more, but ofcoz is good for some case like urgent sales etc, else waste time deverlop da system for what rite?
Anyway, well done with the new system. Btw, yesterday (19th May) shutdown if for this upgrade ah?
